Just wondering, what's your definition of middle-aged?
About 40-60, now some people's hair do turn grey much earlier than others, I guess depending on heredity, lifestyles, etc. What I'm saying is that many LS drivers I saw do not have greying hair yet, so while they don't look like spring chickens, they probably aren't that old.
Every male by age 40 will have some gray hair - he just may color it.
I tried the coloring a couple of times, didn't like it, haven't since. Now I've "salt and pepper" head.
I see what you're saying , but you need to have quite a lot of silver hair among the dark ones for it to appear "salt & pepper" from a distance - like observing a driver sitting in their cars on the other side of the road.
If you have only some strands of grey like some 40+ people do, you usually have to be standing pretty close to the person to observe them. To an observer further away, they still do not appear to have greying hair. That is why I don't think I saw nearly as many greying LS430 drivers as say, Buick drivers
Anyway, I think the new style of the LS460 can possibly appeal to more relatively young people than the LS430.
