Exclamation GS 350 Or GS450h?

Not factoring-in price, would there be any reason to buy a 350 versus the 430h?

You'll have more trunk space in a '350, a Tachometer and a more traditional sound when thrashing the car...if you can afford a 450h - who cares?

just wondering...since the 350 and the 450h use the same v6 engine...if you "thrash" the car shouldn't the sound be about the same?

They will sound different; because the 450h has a CVT box the engine will just spool up to MAX rpm's and stay there while the car accelerates. It sounds more like a jet accelerating down the runway.

If money no issue & you don't need much trunk space, the GS450h. It is faster & has the **** option available for much improved handling, which is not available for the GS350.

I wouldn't even trade in the 450h for the gs460 coming out. Now I will like some of the inside comfort new nav, ex features of the LS, but still...
I like the CVT, hybrid stealth, super smooth, quiet.
So obviously with money not being a factor go for the gs450h.
Now if they came out with a gs460h, I would definetly buy.
Obviously if you are into MODS instead of breaks and stuff like that, but if you are into engine MODS you can't do much with the hybrid. If I could I would. But it's great the way it is!!!
But being that the "F" might not come out for a few years if at all, I wouldn't get the 460 or the 350, if the GS450h was always an option.

just my thoughts

4 weeks ago I traded in my '07 GS 350 (only having it for 7 weeks) for a '07 GS 450h. There is no comparison whatsover. Yes, the 350 had the trunk space and a spare tire, but the performance just blew away the 350. Glad the dealership had the color I wanted. Just lucked out.

^I wonder if anyone has brought a GS450h to the track yet? if a GS350 runs 14.1 real world and you say the 450 is that much quicker......I'd be interested what a 450h would run.

Will a GS450h beat an IS350?

Trunk space is about the only factor besides price that you should get the GS350. Otherwise, it's the GS450h of course.
