Bluetooth - Treo - and RX400
I've been reading about all the issues people have synching up their phones with their RX400's. Tonight I bought a VerizonTreo 700p.
It took me under 60 seconds to get the phone working with the RX400.
How sweet it is

I have a 2007, but I spoke toooooo soon.
About half the time the bluetooth connection fails. And yes, it fails after I have turned on the Bluetooth technology on the Treo. I'm not sure why it's failing sometime, and working other times ????????? I'm going to try and keep better track of this and see if I can see a pattern.
As a side note, I had an LG 325 bluetooth phone and that gave me some grief getting it connected to the RX400. BUT, once I had it connected it was rock solid and never gave me a problem. Go figure....

treo
what is on the screen (of your phone) when your treo is failing to connect. if you are text messaging and put the treo into the 400h it wont connect until you are back to a phone screen. also did you delete the old phone connection from the bluetooth system now that you are connecting with the treo?

Good questions. Yes, first I deleted the prior bluetooth connection. When I turn the car on, I make a point of making sure the bluetooth wireless technology is turned on. I also am not doing anything with the phone when I turn the car on. I'm going to start making sure the phone is active, and not subject to the keyguard.

Just bought a Sprint 700p...works perfectly with the 2007 RX400h. So does my Samsung Blackjack.
My old Treo 650 did not work correctly with the Rx400h... you had to turn the phone on in order to connect to the car....not a big deal.
