Pretty amazing that the GS 450H does 13 sec in the 400m...can wait to see what the 460 does.

Interesting jump that the GS430 got in the first part.

I thought the video proved the exact opposite. The GS430 took off the line immediately. The 450h bogged a bit off the line - just like the test results in the R&T or C&D comparison test w/ the BMW 550i.

Kind of proves the irrelevance of the GS430 for prospective buyers at this point - aside from a lead off the line that lasted all of two seconds, it can't compare. I'll bet it would lose to the GS350, too.

It will be interesting to see what the GS460 (or better, a GS-F) can do.

I wonder if that was reaction times by the two drivers, or the 450 itself just has slow reaction to hitting the pedal. If it was the driver's slow reaction in the 450h, that would have been even worse for the 430! (pains me to say that!). Clearly the 430 got a much better jump.

True.... but I haven't found it that easy to completely run the battery down, with the regenerative braking it seems to keep the bars fairly high on the battery most of the time.
yes there are those times, if you want to put in neutral or something, not giving the engine time to engine break/or charge and it does then slow/show the lag in performance.

Overall pretty good consistancy in performance.
