Default GS450 Hybrid who had one?

1. Does Lexus sell more Hybrids or GS350's?
2. Does the Hybrid compare more to the 430 in performance or 350?
3. Do you really save buying gas each week or is it about the same
4. Is the Hybrid quieter inside since it's using the electric motor at lower speeds?
5. What if something goes wrong with the electric motor when your away on a trip does the car stop working or does it always work since it also uses gas too?
6. Do you have to re-charge the electric motor? How long do the fuel cells last?
7. Does Lexus tend to discount the Hybrids as much or more than the 350 or 430?

1. no clue. probably more 350's b/c more are made than the 450h's.

2. It compares more to the future upcoming 460. The 350 is better in every way to the old 430, but the 450h is that much better to the 350.

3. Gas is probably about the same (remember Lexus isn't more about ecomony, it's about performance....)
you get the performance of a V8, with the economy of a v6. I didn't buy mine b/c of the milege, I purchased it b/c of the technology and the intrigue as well as the performance. only car so far with the AAAS. maybe the new 460 will have, which is why this car compares best to the 460.

4. The ahybrid is MUCH quieter at any speed. No shifting, and wisper quiet.

5. Both engines work in combination with one another. If you have no gas the car will not just run on electric, so I am guessing if something went wrong with either engine, like ANY car, you should pull over and get it fixed.

6. Uh, no recharging. The regenerative breaking and engine breaking automatically charges the car seemlessly.

7. Probably not. They are rare and there is a premium. If you need to "save" money the 450h isn't for you. It's a premium car at a premium price.
The 450h comes with ALL options no real option to choose.....(depending where in the country it's sent....)
The 350's and 430's you can choose which options to work within the price you can afford.
