LS460L VS. LS600hl
#2
LS600hL comes with All Wheel Drive standard, whereas the 460L is RWD only (at least for now)
The 600hL will have an even more upscale interior - more leather surfaces, like the dash for example.
The standard OEM rims are different -19" for the LS600hL, whereas it's 18" for the LS460L, except for the touring package.
The headlights & I think even the lexus logo on the cars will be different.
The LS600hL will have an exclusive paint color not available for the 460L.
That's what I can think of for now.

The LS 600h L will also debut some of the more advanced safety features on the LS and other tech features...the Driver Monitoring System, for instance, possibly the Lane Keep Assist system, and a more advanced Dynamic Radar cruise/Pre-Collision system that can stop and start the car fully (IIRC), plus the **** stability system, etc.
Details have yet to be confirmed however...

No, its optional, & according to a dealer who posted here, the RSES & the 4-seater with ottoman configuration will actually be seperately available as options for the 600hL, not lumped together as the Executive Package like the 460L.

I've seen more close-up images that show more of the purplish hue, but with paint like this, the appearance can vary depending on lighting & angles.
The Truffle Mica which is on the Special Launch Edition (limited to 100) of the LS600hL is actually USA only. In Canada & other countries, the Truffle Mica is a regular color choice that can be ordered for any LS460's.

No definitive info on that yet, but from pictures of the LS600hL that were seen on Auto shows so far, the interior of the LS600hL's shown are either Black or Alabaster, which are available for the LS460 . . . I don't recall seeing any addition interior leather colors other than black, cashmere, alabaster & light grey even on the Japanese Lexus website . . .
