Very Nice! Is the paint original?

 

It isn't original but was done a long time ago and as far as I know it was only repainted once. I would like to get it re-painted but I have to wait because I am moving and have my money tied up in houses I own. Once I sell my NY and TX house and move to SC I will get it done. I good paint job done properly can run $10,000 to $20,000 dollars.

 

My best record... 31 MPG..
I remember one night I was the last one left Costco's gas pump around 9.00pm. I was bored and decided to go gentle on the peddle. 4 miles on highway and 1 mile local driving... I made 31 MPG.

JoJo was happy.

 

Last tank of gas lasted me 11 days... over 460miles... averaged 28.4mpg (according to computer) with average temperatures (day and evening driving) day 66F and 48F evenings.

Hopefully will improve as temperatures continue to increase..
