LS600hL on Entourage

On Entourage season three, they used a silver S65 which at the time was not yet officially available. Funny thing is, there was a very similar thread like this on MBWorld when the car first appeared. It is very obvious these are product placements initiated by the car companies.

Yeah, it's kinda tricky particularly with the dark colored models, supposedly the blue tint is still there but it's much more obvious with lighter colored vehicles, with this car it just blends in. And this model probably is preproduction as it seems there's no tint at all, although it could just seem that way from a distance.

thats so weird. i just saw ari pull his lexus in for valet parking and they were not LED headlights, they were 460 lights.
EDIT: he just said its a hybrid so i guess its a hybrid with 460 lights.

It's just a TV show, don't assume they will really always get a LS600hL to depict a Lexus hybrid for the show, they probably assume most viewers won't notice the difference anyway

I think its a big statement to have ARI driving the ls6h. I mean he had the top models of Bmw and Mercedes...and now he trades for this. I been tellin everyone that lexus is rising to the top of the "new standard" for luxury. I want an LS soooo bad.

i agree that yes its a tv show. but the LED headlights are a distinctive feature of the car, and they should have given it to them. the blue emblems is a subtle difference that could have been forgoten, same with the hybrid badges on the side. anyways its good to see him driving the LS

Ari's LS600hL
Because I am only an admirer of the LS600hL (not an owner) I thought I would wait for a "more informed" writer to this forum to comment on the lastest episode of "Entourage" and Ari Gold's misadventures with his 600hL. First, was the mistake of the valet at Morton's in delivering Ari's car to another customer - I guess there must a significant number of black 600hLs in L.A., but second - and more pertinent for this forum - was that when he got his car back Ari got pulled over by the police for speeding (Ari was on his cellphone with Lloyd at that time and his response to Lloyd's question of "how fast were you going" was "about 140"). So, it would appear that the 600hLs are capable of doing Warp Factors!
