I've seen some emblems on eBay fairly cheap and OEMs. Wife bought me a whole set of GS emblems in black chrome when someone stole mine because they were very cheap. When i got them, they had the OEM papers and labels and were genuine.

Dealer wanted $300 for the same ones.

 

I'm sure if I have the 400h in a few years I'll end up doing that just to keep up the appearance. As it stands, it's just an annoyance that we notice when we wash her!

 

I cannot believe that they would not spring out for a set of emblems. I guess it falls under cosmetic. As somebody suggested, a set on ebay is not expensive.

 

I'm surprised, too. Usually the dealer bends over backwards for stuff like that. Through the years they've given me and installed the spoiler on the original RX, new license plate holder when it was in an accident, cargo nets (both cars) and the list goes on. It's never an issue. They should want people to view the Lexus emblems clearly! I even had mine replaced when they didn't look good on my old Chrysler! (before owning a Lexus)
