Is the LF-SH the exact same car as the LS 460?? Anything different?

They are surprisingly weak. The difference in night-time illumination is very moderate. The high-beams of some other cars I've owned (including a GS400) turn night into day.

One of the benefits of the LED headlights is that they produce less glare. It's possible that the new generation of regular HIDs is adjusted to reduce glare for oncoming vehicles...

i wonder if the amount of lumens for HID and LED are the same.. but u know i'm surprised that they allow the 3 separate projector design because i know i've read somewhere stating that you aren't allow to operate more than 2 pairs of driving/fog lights at the same time at the front of the car.

I love the design of the LS 460/460L/600hL headlamp housing, the appearance reminds me of a 'display case' -- and the integrated headlamp washers are sophisticated, like finely made jewelry or a watch.

But yes, the LS 460/460 L headlamps are very beautiful as well and do have that reflective crystal design inside, inspired by Baccarat tumblers. As the 'original' headlamp design, they stand out brilliantly as well.

I smell a retrofit. I think someone in here will use those in a retrofit

I have been looking at one particular auction for a pair of LS600hL headlights here. With in the product description, and if i am not mistaken, it states that you have to have an adapter in order for the retrofit to work. Can anyone educate me regarding what adapter is to be used in this application? Thanks in advance.

My Lord, now I see where the $5,000 price tag comes from...

I suspect the adapter that is required is one that converts the headlights' power from HID to LED. Two very different technologies.

So it will most likely be a power source plug adapter then. Thanks Burnaby.

Anyone actually going to retrofit the LS 460 with 600h lights?
