I had informed myself previously, and came to the conclusion that the Speedometer / Odometer cluster would require replacing (from outside source, and from Lexus Dealer). And, in doing so, would void the remaining warranty.
This is not to say that this is the definitive answer to your question, but to date this is what I have found.
I too would be interested in finding a way to switch the miles to km, and so forth.
Cheers,

I brought a US vehicle into canada and was told at the dealership in Winnipeg it would be necessary to change the cluster. He said rough quote of $1500.00 to do it. That is authorized by Lexus I assume if done at the dealership so would not void warranty. I still find it hard to believe I can't at least adjust the centre display to celcius easier than that. Please post if you find a conclusion.

I wonder why it requires a replacement cluster? My old RX 300 was bilingual. I discovered that the hard way when SOMEONE, poking around on the buttons trying to find her favorite radio station, changed the "language" default. I didn't so much notice the Québécois so much as the km and C scales that came with it. It only showed up on the information screen and did not effect the speedo. It took me a couple of days to figure out how to back out of that selection though.
