Its just the size of cars nowadays. Everything is soo much larger, so your frame of reference on 20" wheels is 2GS which is not a huge car, but a brand new Altima or Accord is now LONGER than a 2 or 3GS!!

So larger wheels are becoming more commonplace just to keep up! I think the 20's are great for a LS460 when you want that "OEM Sport" appearance. Most of my 20" customes with a 460 just want to add some pizazz without being too flashy. Then we have people like jpmotodyn with the 22's slammed big ballin' and shot callin' lol

Let me think about this. I'm driving a 75K or 80K car, 4k or 6K in wheels and if I damage one it will cost me 1k or 2K to replace. I never thought about it that way. What the heck was I thinking? I'm selling my 22's soon as I get home and putting my 18's back on. Thanks for the advice which will save me so much money. You sure you're not my wife?

Without lips, I think even the 19's don't look too small on the car. For wheels with prominent lips, I think I would prefer 21's the most, although I've seen a couple 22's I like too, again, depending on the design of the wheels.

I absolutely hate the looks of the LS460(L) slammed anyway with ANY wheels (I do like the looks when lowered some though).

While some 22's might look good, the tires are really skinny and HARD, and the rims are HEAVY. These things kinda spoil the whole silky ride of the LS and make the handling and steering worse.

these look pretty sharp, especially if dropped a little

I dont think those are Lowenhart. Never seen any lowenharts look like those unless those are very brand new exclusive model.

the one in the first post, those are zone wheels, not lownhart.

i was talking about teh multispoke wheels on the 600hl (obsidian) at lexus of cerritos couple months back. it's a new style lowenhart came out not too long ago for the ls460
