Override hack possible on 2008 RX400h?
What gen is the Nav.. Is it still a Gen 5 like the other 2008s..RX350, GS, IS, etc?
I've seen posts of GS and IS owners having success, but I haven't seen anyone with an 08 RX do it.
Attached is the information shown in the service menu.
What does the 1911 under "Navi Information" translate to? Is it a version # or some internal number used by DENSO.

P.S., I have been informed that this message may be deemed inappropriate. In light of the fact I was making a joke. My intention was not to infringe on any copyright laws.
But, for what it's worth, if you sell your 400h, are you supposed to remove the DVD disc from the DVD player?

Over in the ES350 forum one person compared the LOADING.KWI files between the Gen 5, VER 5.1 and 6.1 map DVDs. He reported that the difference in size between those two was mainly more verbal command items. I don't use verbal commands any more after my DVD 5.1/6.1 modification. It may be the same for the Ver 7.1/5.1 LOADING FILES. In any case the nice thing is if you are not satisified you can always reinstall the original factory Ver 7.1 DVD. This is a non-invasive modification.
