Id like to know more about the trunk space too. In the 1st Gen GS400 there was a pass through, do the rear seats in the 450h fold flat or is there a pass through or is there nothing? The trunk is it. Just hoping that the rear seats fold down.

can't fold flat for sure, and i doubt there is a pass through coz' of the big *** battery. in fact, none of the 3gs has fold down seats, just pass through (on gs350 and gs460 i believe)
gs400? i can't remember exactly, but i don't think there is a pass through at all. there is a cross bar behind the rear seats

both are great cars, each owner has their own wonderful thoughts, that's what makes this board so great.
I love my 450h, I like the 460, but I still think I am going to save another months $$ worth and get a 08 M5 SMG.
My wife will kill me but I jsut want more of an animal with a rock solid cornering ride.

plus the big price tag... but if you can afford it, M5 is prob the best sports sedan on earth IMHO.Oh, and I think lexus NEVER offers fold down seats b/c it "interferes w/ its ability to retain interior quietness." (in other words, they don't want any additional possiblities of rattles or noise... i'm thinking maybe it helps w/ the body rigidity as well)
