Pricing experience
I am in the market for a 08 R400h. What kind of experience have you had with dealership pricing. I am accustomed to buying domestics where if they don't entice you with come ons like $10,000 off and then negotiate from there. Do Lexus dealers work from invoice up? Sticker down? What kind of markup is in these. I'm talking a Luxury package with Levinson, Nav, etc. About 51,800 MSRP. Can these be bought for about 6k off sticker?
I am in Colorado. We have 4 dealers here. I would be willing to travel some to get one. Phoenix, Albuquerque, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, etc.
Just looking for some insight into some of your buying experiences.
Thanks,
Dale

I was able to get a few thousand off sticker and had them throw in window tint, pinstripes, rubber mats (close to a thousand worth of extras). I did get one that was fully loaded otherwise. A dealer is a dealer, haven't met one that dosen't negotiate even BMW and Porsche.

Pricing
I've been doing research on the RX400h for about a year and just purchased mine 2 weeks ago. I found out the Lexus dealers do not want to come off their sticker prices as much as US automakers do. They will negotiate some, as long as you've done some homework and present them with your facts. I paid $46k for my MSRP $50k car and the dealer through in a cargo net, cargo mat and cargo tray to boot. I'm happy with what I've paid and feel I got a good deal with the options that were on the car. I had previously arranged 4.99% financing and Lexus offered me 4.8%. As much as I hate to say this, this purchase was my best experience buying a new vehicle.

Thats funny, I got mine from Greg too. He was great to deal with. 100% no hassle. My ex-gf's father recommended me to him!
