Hi,

First of all, what year is your vehicle?

But if you have the Rear Entertainment System you should be able to play the DVDs.

Not sure how it works on the '08, but my '04 works like this: Transmission in "Park", set the emergency brake (principle here is to assure that you are not underway while viewing video on front screen - illegal in many states). Start video on RSES and press the "DISC" button on the radio stack twice to switch to "Aux" input. That should bring up the video on the screen and audio through your speakers.

When all other options fail, check your manual!

I don't have the ML system, is that why?
I didn't really see anything like this on the manual...

I can't imagine the M/L system having anything to do with it. The upscale audio option consists only of a change of speakers, an uprated head unit, and the addition of that center channel speaker in the top of the dash - the connections, I think, are identical. My RX 330 has M/L, but only because early editions of the 330 were available only with a couple of "packages". If you wanted the RSES, you took the M/L, along with a boatload of other options.

the ML system comes with the DVD player instead of a regular CD player. So thats how you can watch it on the navi screen. unless the RX is different
