After just over a month of owning this car, I have yet to be impressed with the navi system. It seems like such a down grade compared to the one I had in the Honda Odyssey. I can't even change a radio station with voice commands to start with. And the biggest anoyance is the routes it chooses. They are very inefficient! And last week, somone in my household tried to look for a mojor ferri terminal in the area and it wasn't even listed. Who makes the navi disks? I couldn't find Lexus listed on the Navteq site.

If you're attempting to compare ANY Toyota NAV system to a Honda, FUGGEDABOUTIT! This is one area that Toyota is behind just about every other manufacturer and it's very irritating. My '02 Cadillac and '04 Maxima were superior.
It's "all looks" (as in a beautiful display) and for practical purposes, no function.
INEXCUSABLE!

The navigation is terrible as compared to my previous Acura MDX. The voice commands are waste of time - I have yet to get it to acknowledge any command other than "go home". From the Ford commercials, it appears they have a far superior voice command system. (Ford!???) I love the rest of the car, but I expected much more from Lexus.

You can say "go home"? I should give that a try. I had high expectations too. Maybe too high. The rest of the car is great. The only minor thing is that the road noise is very noticible at high speeds when you are sitting in the back. Especially when it is raining.
