Thanks. No, here in Hawaii, they didn't start bringing in nav consoles til 08. And yes, ALL the interior lights were swapped for LEDs and are very bright. I love 'em.

That's too bad Hawaii didn't equip them. But, now you got a good aftermarket one. The faceplate for that double din unit looks so clean, makes it look factory. I know you got it install at shop, but where did you get the faceplate for it?

That's actually a JDM faceplate bracket found in the Harriers in Japan. My friend that installed it brought in a few and that's the only reason I went for the aftermarket stereo. If you're interested, PM me and I'll get you his info.

The shop had them in stock. But you can get the part # based on your vehicle from sylvania.com and get the lights from v-leds.com. All the interior lights were simply replaced within 1/2hr. Most, if not all, were filament types. The LED replacements have a filament adapter connected to the light plate.
I think my next step is the DRLs and HID fogs. But that'll take a little more time and need to remove the bumper.

Are you planning on changing them yourself? Oh btw, you might want to think about replacing the wedge bulb too, it's yellow, so when you turn on the low beams the wedge bulbs lights up. I'm thinking about changing them but I can't get the bulb out. I don't want to pull to hard and break stuff.

You can probably find someone in your zipcode/area that can refer you to a reputable shop right here on CL. Why don't you create a post in the Electronics or your regional forums and ask around.

Had to find my original thread
I finally completed my stereo install with the Alpine Blackbird navigation unit w/ Blutooth.
REV-01 took less than 2hrs to install this and it works perfect! Connected to my Blackberry Bold easily and used the Nav with no problems when I left the shop.
These are just some pics taken from my phone. Enjoy!
