O/T: How can a flagship have such crap wheels and fitment?

Lexus has been notified and someone at the wheel dept. has been demoted.
Rumors have it that the refresh will see new wheel designs for the LS. Although frankly those shown on the pic above aren't much different from some S-Class rims.

I wonder why anyone would have swapped the standard 19s for 18s. Maybe a dealer trying to sell take-offs? Even the Teleios 18s would look lost on this car...
From Lexus.com: The standard 19-inch, aluminum-alloy wheels on the LS 600h L feature an exclusive seven-spoke design. With their Liquid-Graphite finish, they make a bold statement while complementing the sleek exterior of the LS 600h L. In addition, these larger wheels are fitted with low-profile tires for better handling. An 18-inch seven-spoke Teleios alloy wheel is also available. Or you may opt for the available 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels with a sporty nine-spoke design.

There are numerous scam ads on Craigslist. NEVER buy a car sight unseen from this venue.
In order to save yourself time if you are interested in a car on CL, right from the start ask them to fax you a copy of the title. If its a scam, that'll put an immediate end to their communication with you.

This is worth as much as the $500 million your deceased grandmother left for you with a fund custodian in Nigeria National Commercial Bank who just needs your personal information and $5,000 so he can complete the transaction and send you the money right away.
I once was offered (through an ebay seller) a 2008 LS460L with 5,000 miles on the odo or so for $45K when such a car was starting at $65K+ on ebay and cars.com. So I thought it was a bargain and asked the guy to send me more pics. He sent me several photos of the car where I noticed the VIN on the door jam in one photo didn't match with the VIN written on a label attached to the key string in another photo.
So everybody out there looking for good deals, if you insist to learn the hard way try to avoid the very hard one.
