30K Service costs

I should re-consider the Hybrid or any model which requires the high maintenance fee. I agree with irieblue. Other German vehicles, not hybrid, don't cost such much. IMO.
And, I hate the inconsistent price...

I don't think the RX Hybrid requires more expensive maintenance than other Lexus vehicles. Yes, the dealer is more expensive, you don't have to use it, but a good dealer will be honest and only suggest what is really needed. Having dealt with the same dealer for over 10 years, I have no regrets as they have backed the products even when they are old. If you own a big expensive house you pay more to maintain it than someone with a shack. You have standards, size, and other costs. Other than tires and normal I have not spent money on any other "repairs" since getting the car in June 2005.

I'm planning to purchase '10RX, but cannot decide if I should wait for Hybrid or not. I also worry about the feeling of riding Hybrid. Well, I'll continue to do my research.
Porsche Cayenne V8 provides 20K (or 2yr) interval maintenance... this makes me dizzy, especially if comparing with 5K RX.
Once again, thanks.
