Step 1. Park vehicle. Take key out of ignition
Step 2. Step on parking brake until one click is heard.
Step 3. Turn on vehicle, shift to Drive but DO NOT release parking brake.
DRLs will be disabled until you release the parking brake.
I'm sure the light festival is over but this method can be used for times in the future when you need them temporarily off.

I wanted to add that even the first click does apply a modest amount of parking brake force, so this is not an efficient way to drive for any distance and would certainly wear the brake pads with any extended distance.
