A 10% weight gain for a hybrid vehicle. This is a little hard to understand. I wonder what the additional fuel economy would have been with a similiar vehicle weight to the 400h.

200 or so pounds of the weight gain was new suspension.

450 + poounds? jesus!!! it probably can't handle, plus all that weight means more tire wear
