Ran out of gas. Ouch!
Yup, I really screwed up today. Ran the 400h down to empty. The experience was much like what Bear 60 describes in this earlier thread:

The difference is that I was over 5 miles from a gas station and it was COLD outside. I found that after the car slowly died I could get it restarted and squeeze another mile or two out of it. Did this about 3 times and limped into a gas station. Filled 'er up and off I went. The battery indicates that it has recharged, all the warning lights are off and it seems to be running fine.
Any chance that I've done some damage that is not immediately apparent? Anything I should be watching out for?
