The local Lexus dealer just received an RX450h. It is the new light blue color and is a FWD model. It is pretty well loaded and priced right at $50K. It has the comfort package, NAV, premium package, and 19" wheels. It is just off the truck and has not been prepped. I will try to get a test drive Tuesday.

I stopped by my dealer this PM just to see if it has the 450 for "show and tell". did not see one outside or inside--but furthermore my dealer has a total of 5 '10s and 2 400h's and to me that is quite a low inventory.
That also tells me they are in the drivers seat for now on pricing.
But I have a question--back at begining of this year we heard that the 350 was coming in Feb and the 450 a couple of months later. The 450 looks like it was delayed 2-3 months--was there a problem, or was this merely a business decision related to economy? Possible a glitch at the new plant?
In any event, looks like gas prices are going to bring hybrids into play and right now the RX really has little competition in the luxury hybrid area in something that gets upper 20's

I'll check, but the window sticker looks like it is for sale - it has prices and no note that the car is not for sale.

My dealer had a car in available for a 1-day preview on June 4th. It had a sticker, so I don't think the sticker on the one you saw necesarily means it is available for sale.

I bet that Hybrid is sold. I doubt we will get the chance of test-driving it. The owner will be mad.
So far each dealer I have checked all has the buyers ordering Hybrid.
