So excited, just bought my car today after 3 hours of negotiation. Boy was it a tough process. I bought a Black on black with navi and comfort package MSRP $54,535 for around 50,500. Also got 1k extra off my trade-in. Loving the car!

Spent yesterday and today negotiating on a 2010 RX450H. Got a little bit over $1k taken off MSRP. I tried to get more, but I think that was their bottom line. My trade-in is my 08 400H. They didn't give me much, but they did slightly better in that deal.

I was ready to buy some of the options like the chrome wheels, tow package, etc., but they weren't willing to offer me any type of deal, so for now it's just the clear bra and leather protect as my pants tend to bleed on the leather.

Are you buying a car off their lot or you special order? If you buy a car off their lot, that's not a so good deal.

everything depends on local dealer inventory--my dealer now has a motherload of 350's but no 450s-when in for service the other day salesman grinned and siad I could get a heck of a deal on the 350. no mention of 450 of course.

I drove the Rx350 today at a large volume dealer. Didn't talk price but they have a large inventory so would expect some dealing. Now, after reading some positive reviews thinking about the 450h.Based the dealers website they have 3 in stock. One with the equipment and color that I am interested in is $54K and using edmund's, an estimated cost of $48+. Is a price of less than $50k realistic. There is one other dealer in town but it is less conveniently located and I don't know if they have the car with the features I want in stock.

I ordered my Rx450h and got $4k off MSRP. But I had to email about 9 dealers and drove 200 miles to pick it up. But it saved me about $3k from my local dealer. Be willing to travel to get a good deal.

Can you please provide us more details?
Such as options, etc. or perhaps a copy of options list (or sticker) willl help a lot?

Welcome to CL, good luck with your search. If you're willing to fly to a dealer with the best deal, I believe you should be able to get one $500 over invoice , if you take one already on the lot. Most dealers want to move their units by 31 Dec , if at all possible.

I just did this same deal i.e. identical MSRP, bought for $50,350 or $1k over invoice plus $150 of dealer fees for $50,500. No hassle. I used auto-trader and Edmund's to locate the color (black sapphire) and options that I wanted and emailed 5 dealers and said I was willing to pay $1k over invoice and wire funds in time for their year-end. Got a call back a couple of hours latter while I was standing in line at Starbucks and sealed the deal before I got my coffee.

Been looking to replace my 2000 RX300. I spec'd out a special order Matador Red 450H (parchment interior) with the Comfort, Premium, and Sport Packages (didn't want Nav, entertainment, or other bells/whistles), walked into my dealer yesterday, and walked out with a special order at $1000 over invoice. ~12-14 wks for delivery. This will be my "December to Remember!"

^ Where in FL is the dealer? In our dealer in Orlando, we get all RX450h's w/ nav, comfort, premium and intuitive parking assist features at the very least. We have never gotten a 450 w/out navi.

BTW good job on getting the RX at $1K over invoice but man, 12-14 wks ETA is a long time to wait!

After high hopes faded for the GX 460, looking at special ordering RX 450h with:

Heads Up Display

LL Luxury Package: Includes Semi-Aniline Leather Trim Interior, One Touch Open/Close Moonroof, Power Retractable Electrochormic Outside Mirrors, Wood and Leather Steering Wheel and Shift ****, Wide Angle Side-view Monitor, 19" Alloy Wheels with Mud and Snow Tires, MP3 Mini Plug with USB Audio Plug, Power Rear Door, Illuminated Scuff Plate and Headlamp Cleaner

ML Mark Levinson Audio

Looking at a two to three month wait, which is perfect. Problem is the HUD, is it worth the extra cash, and what is a good price for the RX 450h with all of the options listed above?

Just to give you guys little perspective, I checked the RX prices here in Finland and compared them to the US prices.

Finland:
RX 450h AWD starting at 81.400 euros -> about 118.800 USD
http://www.lexus.fi/Images/RX%20450h...610-815266.pdf

USA:
RX 450h AWD starting at 44,275 USD.
http://www.lexus.com/models/RXh/features/pricing.html

Quite a difference, wouldn't you say..?
