It's been around 10c the last couple days (vs around 0c and colder prior) and I've noticed the ICE kicks in much less, and I can keep the 400h in electric only for longer and also can do it without being feather light on the accelerator pedal. Nice. I know my mileage went from around 8litres/100km to 10litres/100km with the cold weather. Be nice to see it drop back down now.
Kinda wish I lived somewhere where it was warm all year, but I'd miss the skiing and snowboarding, and the ice cold leather seats (c'mon Lexus, my wife's VW Beetle had better seat heaters) and the dirt and salt all over my car, and the fear of sliding into the ditch or being hit by a driver who was too cheap to buy winter tires.

The seat heaters in my '08 400h are perfectly fine. I've had other vehicles that heated up more and faster, but I'm satisfied with mine. The multi-levels are good, too. The seats in our '04 Sienna XLE LTD were a complete joke, BUTT it wasn't funny!

Seatheaters in the RX are very efficient compared to the newer models that have heated air. Actually I rarely use them but the males in my family love them and complained that the ones in the new IS aren't hot enough.
