That's what the display says anyway. We do a lot of slow driving here on Kauai, could be a factor.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you’re not going over 50-60 mph, I think it’s reasonable to hit 30+ mpg. When you reach 70-75 mph, you get a lot of wind resistance that really drags the mpg down.

Lightbulb What’s your mpg on RX450h?

Hi. Just to be clear my mileage is based on the English gallon, not the US gallon that most of these threads seem to be based on. It makes a big difference to what mpg you are quoting. For example, 28mpg (US) equals 33.6mpg (English).
My RX450h is a July 2013 GEN 3 model with 71,000miles (not kM) and have had it since 2018. I normally get 31mpg (or 25.8mpg US) week in/week out (urban, little city mileage) and on long runs I can get 39mpg (or 32.5mpg US).
Really love my RX450H for all driving modes. And I use the power quite a lot which would reflect on my mileage figures. So comfortable, easy access (I’ve knee issues) and 100% reliable (so far).

cheers Martin

Most of my driving is stop and go city, exactly where the hybrid excels.
Summertime- average 7.0 L/100km (33mpg)
Wintertime- average 9.0 L/100km (26mpg)

12.3L/100km? (19mpg)
that’s really bad, but I’m thinking the horrendous Karachi traffic jams are to blame.

The hybrid is great in typical stop and go traffic, but in gridlock? With the AC running?
if you’re only crawling along, there is not enough momentum for the regen braking to replenish the battery in order to offset battery only power, thus causing engine revving charges to occur and wiping out any hybrid advantage.

Just to clarify

you mean 12.3km/L? I think I’m having trouble understanding what unit of measure you are using.

there is mpg (both U.S. and Imperial), then the Canadian metrics of L/100km, then the overseas km/L.

Based on what I think you’re saying, if you mean 12.3km/L, then that means 29mpg.

Your all good, no problem with that figure in comparison with others on here.

Default High Altitude MPG vs Sealevel

I live in Albuquerque NM at about 5300ft. I routinely get 28mpg around town. Went on a trip at sea level and my around town mpg dropped to 20mpg. That's hardly better than the non-hybrid RX350. Back from my trip and I'm back to 28mpg. What's going on???

Default 22-28 Depending on how I drive

Not sure what else to say. 2011 RX450h - using the dash tools it says I get 22 on the low end, and 28 on the high end.

We had a 2013 RX 450H and it never lived up to the claimed mileage. Traded it for a Ford F150 hybrid that gets 24mpg and sometimes up to 30 in town. All on regular 87 octane. Our 2014 RX 350 delivers almost 25 on the highway. At the cost of premium fuel today it would be too costly to drive the 2013.

Engines need to be tuned to the air pressure and fuel octane to provide the best milage. The RX 450h is capable of retuning it self but it takes at least two tanks of gas to do it. When I switched from 93 octane to 87 octane I did not get good milage at first but after two tanks of 87 I was getting better milage than I was getting with 93 octane. We get around 33 MPG on summer 87 and about 27 on winter 87.

I bought a 2015 RX hybrid last month from the dealership, only getting 17 to 18 miles per gallon. is there anything I should get checked to improve fuel economy?

Have the battery checked and switch to 87 octane high quality gas.
