My new Consumer Reports just arrived. Our RX (h) is top of the heap with the highest score of 88. Best in everything. Their average in mileage was 26 overall.

I no longer subscribe to CR so can you offer a little clarification. The 450h is tops but the top of what, just hybrid crossovers or a broader category?

Sorry, it's #1 in Ludury 20ros SUV's. It's followed by the Audi Q5 Premium Plus, RX 350, BMW X3 3.0si, Infiniti EX Journey, Cadallac SRX Luxury, Acura RDX, Infiniti FX35, Volvo XC60, MB GLK 350, Lincoln MKX, and # 12, Land Rover LR2 SE.

It's Also number 1 in Predicted reliability and Safety.

wa3cuj, the article was about small and midsized SUVs. The Forester took the top spot followed by the V6 RAV4. They threw in a chart of the top luxury SUVs underneath. Lexus 450h was first and 350 third. The RX has always been at or near the top so no surprise here. But it's nice to know we have the top pick

2 Rows !!! And I should have been more clear about the 1st part of the article being small/midsized SUVs. The 2nd part was Luxury 2 rows. I just brought in the mail, took notice and quickly left to have dinner with friends.

But we really needed this after all the Toyota and Lexus recalls the last few months. It's really good news.

Yeah, it's good to know Lexus/Toyota is not on Consumer Reports' ***** list. Proof is on page 14 - Lexus GX 460 now passes our test.
