Is it possible for me to get a Lexus CPO warranty on a 2006 RX 400h (48k miles) private sale? If to how much and is it worth it?

Also where can I find the RX 400h maintenance schedule? The manuals are not working under the "My Lexus" tab on https://secure.drivers.lexus.com

Things can change, but my understanding is that the original owner can purchase (price is negotiable) Extended warranty as long as the base warranty is still in effect. The price changes year to year, so the extended warranty typically would cost less at the time of purchase of the vehicle vs after say 2 years of ownership. This extended warranty can be transferred to the next owner for a fee. [not sure if can be transferred to the 3rd owner]. With all extended and CPO warranties, if the vehicle is lost/totaled etc, your premium is lsot.

Hey Brian, have the existing owner purchase the extended warranty before you buy the RX from them. Then it can transfer.
