What version/gen of Navigation Updates will work with a 2006 400h? I have heard that 2010 version may not work, is that true? Worst case I can live with 2009 version.
What is the best place to buy the Nav update?

So far, Toyota has released updates each year for generation 2/3, 4 and 5 navigation systems, so it's reasonable to expect they will release a Gen4 version 10.1 disk.
Here's a handy site listing which Toyota/Lexus vehicles have which generation navigation systems: http://www.toyotanavi.hu/navigen_.html
I'm certainly hoping that they release a Gen 2/3 disk, as Cadillac won't provide any 2010 updates for 2004-2009 XLR's, and the Toyota gen2/3 disk works in them except for not having voice guidance.

10.1 was just released and is available for pre-order right now.
What I want to know is- does it still let you do the secret code to let you use it while moving?? I'm afraid to upgrade my NAV until I figure out how to do this hack with a new map.

Go to the Volume screen, then touch the screen in the following sequence:
Upper Left
Lower Left
Upper Left
Lower Left
You'll get a special screen, touch and hold OVERRIDE until the system beeps.
This will allow you to enter/change anything to do with the NAV system while in motion.
It unfortunately resets itself after each restart of the car and does NOT work on the audio or others sytems.
