Looks now that they are taking the LED's out of the RX it is not on the web page now for the 2011 WTF yes no yes no wish marketing and production get on the same page. Called the Dealer to have them go on with the order now I will have to go down there and find out what is what.

executive matchup
went on lexus.ca, and LED headlamps are available for the 2011 RX450h (but only available on the ultra premium package 2). i'm assuming you folks south of the border should also have the LED headlamp option.

No, I don't play soccer!
The LEDs are still available here on the 450h. It looks like Lexus took it out of the luxury package and just offer it as an option for 2011. Mine cost $1,825.

What is this "ultra premium package 2" ? The book that I hsvr never had them in the Luxury Package they were always a stand alone option. Never saw wear I would have to get LED's but last week the order would not go though without them????

there isnt any need to pay attention to "ultra premium package2" that is just "loaded up to the gills" in Canadian speak
When the RX450h first came out, the LED headlights were packaged inside the luxury package. Then after enform/safety connect was added in August 2009, the LED headlights were removed as a stand alone option. I have an early edition of the 2010 brochure that verifies this.

Thank you for all your help in this. With all the calls to Lexus and the dealer this has been well you have to use the word cluster to explan what has gone on the last week.
How? do you like your 450h or is it not in yet?

The LED headlamps are still offered and they did remove the Lexus name off the back on the left side.It now comes it Tungsten Pearl, Starfire Pearl,Smoky Granite Mica, Stagazer Black, Obsidian, Black Opal Mica, Stain Casjmere Metallic, Cerulean Blue Metallic and Matador Red Mica. The Lexus enform with Safety Connect still has its one-year trial subscription. Just wish they would have the same PURSUIT OF PERFECTION on there web pages and E brochure as they do for the cars.

Of note, after doing some night driving with low visibility conditions, wind, mist, rain, I can say that the LED/fog light combination does better than the HID/fog light combo I had on my X5.
Don't know if it was the difference in brightness or the color temp, but the Lexus LED/fog combo gave better visibility and was less fatiguing.
I'm coming to enjoy the LEDs more and more.
Where the HIDs dominate is on a straight road with the high beams blasting.
Talk about ruling the night.
I would like to have LED high beams, the halogens run a cooler color temp and I can
see where the projection fields meet. Caddy has them already. So Lexus will have them before long.
