Picking up my new 2011 RX450H Saturday!!
Going this weekend and picking up my 2011 RX450h White with tan interior. Got the FWD, GPS, HID, ect. I think the options were at $8,000. Not my first hybrid but first Lexus hybrid. I just missed it too much when I had my RX350 and decided to do the change over. I love that technology.

I see you're a biker. I used to be, my last one was a 1984 BMW R100RT. I hope you're recovered from the accident. I quit riding after 5 bikes and too many close calls with no protection. Bikers are just not respected enough on the roads.

Yep, doing OK now but still have some elbow issues and I had a compression fracture in my back that gives me some problems. I do most what I want to just slower. I miss riding but like you it's those stupid drivers out there you fear. I still ride bicyles now for exercise but do that on bike trails.
Almost forgot, mine came with Michelin tires thank God. There was another RX450 next to mine for deliverly and it had Dunlaps but I didn't check to see if it was a 2010 or not.
Thanks All

What do you intend to tow? As they don't recommend it without the AWD and most dealers won't install a hitch.

Best wishes with your new 450h.
I have had my 2010 450h since January and have almost 10,000km (6,000 miles) on it. I understand hat the only differences between the 2010 and 2011 models is the choice of paint colours. Are there any other differences?

In addition to paint color choices, I read somewhere that the only other difference is that the power plug is moved to the "pass through" area under the gear shift, and for reasons beyond my understanding, the 2011 does not have the LEXUS name on the back tailgate.

I didn't realize they took the Lexus word off the back until I read it from watch37, but it is gone.
Still loving the car!!
mileage is still real good. the computer is very accurate because I've been checking with calculator against the computer. overall it's reading 32.5mpg and I've gotten as high as 34+ on some of the "after fill up mpg's". Anyone know if that fist one is the average of all the fill ups to date?? guess I can look in the book and find out but it's just so huge.
I really like being able to check the air pressure per tire, that's really cool. I check it against a tire gage and once again the display is dead on.

Sorry so slow to respond. Haven't been on in awhile.
She is rock solid and tight as a tick. Have not had any rattles or strange noises. I now have about 2300 miles on her and I'm very very pleased.
Colder weather has caused the mileage to drop about 2mpgs.

Thanks for the response Bob. It's good to know others are having good build quality. I am having a problem with a very persistent and loud rattle coming from the passenger side B pillar. I won't have a chance until after Christmas to get to the dealership for them to look at. I hope it is an easy fix and that the dealership don't make things worse while trying. The rattle is essentially constant and is driving me nuts and detracting from my otherwise wonderful experience with this new car.
