In September 2010 I bought certified 2007 RX 400H with about 7k miles on it. I'm noticing at times when I take foot off the gas pedal and brake; there is slight increase in rev/rpm. It happens intermittently (it is scary at times), wondering could this be related to faulty gas pedal. Haven't spoken to dealer as of yet but wondering if this issue is being reported by other RX 400h owners. Any advice?

This is perfectly normal in the Hybrid it happened in my 2004 Prius and in my 2006 RX400h. The gas engine runs independent of the accelerator pedal thereby revving up when you would least expect it. It is normal for your gas engine to shut off also when you stop. I have driven over 125,000 miles between both vehicles now and have gotten use to it.
