Rear locked messaged in the DVD/RES. Is this normal?
I'm picking up a pre-owned 07 400h and prior to signing on that, I put in a DVD in the RES to test it. I got it to work and heard sound through the wireless headset. When it was time to eject the DVD, it said "rear locked" or similar wording. I wasn't even able to push play or anything else.
In the 2 mins testing this, I couldn't figure out from the ML system at the front on a way to release the control to the rear or eject the dvd from the front controls.
Needless to say, I didn't think it was a problem as I owned an MDX with RES and I'm pretty sure it's just a setting somewhere. I left the car dealer with my dvd in the RES (although I bought it). Does anyone know how to release control to the rear or control the RES from the front? I want to make sure this is by design and not some sort of problem. Thanks
