"Equipped with the second generation Lexus Hybrid Drive system, the 2013 GS 450h delivers 338 total system horsepower, while achieving 31 combined city/highway mpg. Arriving in dealerships in May, the 2013 GS 450h will have a base MSRP of $58,950, unchanged from the model it replaces. "

Too bad. Was hoping Lexus would lower the standard equipment level just so that it can squeeze into Ward's 10 Best Engines' $55k price cap, like the M35h did.
EDIT: NVM I just noticed that's IDENTICAL to the 2011 GS450h's pricing.

Yeah they held pricing. With options fully loaded it can hit right at 70k....
While pricing is held not sure the price is still good enough, was hoping to see 55k or so.
The good news is it is a niche model so its not meant to sell in high volume, they expect about 10% of sales to be hybrids.
Really pimp way to drive around to get 30 MPG.

Seeing that some folks are already getting the new GS at invoice + $500 or so, can we expect the 450h to come down in price relatively quickly as well? I know it's a relatively low volume car but how has the pricing been historically?
