I finally found the Lexus RX450h 12V battery part number in the Lexuspartsnow.com site for the oem battery. It appears the earlier Lexus 12v battery (28800-54020; 2008.12-) cost $ 764. The current version (28800-31290;2009.03-) costs $ 266. I imagine other manufacturer replacement batteries such as Optima, etc. cost in the low $ 200 range.

That sounds fishy when you look at the way it's written "purchase genuine Lexus parts like genuine Lexus battery can make your car run more smoothly" ???. Plus I'm pretty certain the 450h and 350 would have different batteries, not the same parts numbers.

I need to put in my vin # when I get some time to see which battery fits.

I put my VIN # in the menu for the 12V battery, and it said the correct one was the 28800-31290 which is the
$ 266 version. The older one ($ 700+ model) was not correct for my VIN.
