How about you post the cost to change the oil at Toyota, Lexus dealer or at jiffy lube kind of places?
Remember to use 0-20W synthetic oil. I personally use Mobile1.

My cost: $38 for Mobile1 0-20w Oil, $6.50 Oil filter, $24 Air Filter, 25 minutes of my time and the satisfaction of a job well done! :-)
How does free sound with Lexus points As far as the used oil, I'd have to transport it to the county drop off site only open twice a year or another recycling place. I'd rather not put that stuff in the RX. And considering my oil is changed in November, it might not be the most pleasant thing to do in the cold.

Just had my 20k service done today it was $84 at my Toyoa store. I called the Lexus store and it would have been $120 + tax . Just not worth the time to drive to the Lexus store for a rental car that you are paying for.

Default air filter location

on most of these cars you will find the cabin air filter behind the glove box. you will have to remove the glove box to remove the air filter. the glove box basically snaps out.

Does anyone know the location of the cabin air filter? How hard is it to replace it yourself?
