Like Anita said congrats and go for the manuals. More technology than you ever even knew about
. Go to bed with the manuals and two cups of espresso

It's official!! Thanks for everyone's input!
Finalized the deal for around $40, and we're pretty happy with it! Didn't notice the first time around, but it has the 3M clear front and side mirror protector applied as well! Excellent!
Anything I "must do" with it as soon as I get possession?![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

thanks everyone!
GoHuskers, we actually have a CT200h already, and are now FULLY on the dark side
Am I officially the 3rd CL'er with a CT200h and a RX450h?![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Forgot to request the personalization settings I want! I like the function where all the windows can be rolled down by holding the 'unlock' button on the key - I don't know why they don't just make this a standard feature...
After staring at Jim's starfire RX in his profile, I kinda like it without the front plate! :P
If I take off the bracket, I wonder if it's a simple two-hole drill, or if it's more complicated...will it look weird if I took the bracket off, and just 'plugged' it with two white plastic tips from a hardware store?

Hi, everyone - am negitiating on a 2010 RX 450h. What is this "clear coat" please?
Any potential problems I should be aware of?
Thanks to all -
Sandy

Hi Sandy. 3M is a clear bra applied to the front bumper, partial hood and side view mirrors to protect the RX from rocks and chips. Lexus' paint is on the soft side. I had the installer cover the full hood, and the A pillars (on either side of the windshield) on my 450h as well. And it came with lifetime replacement from the dealer.
The only downside is you have to be careful around the edges. It can collect dirt. I use painters tape to protect the edges when polishing and waxing. It requires a little maintenance but nothing extraordinary. Definitely worth it IMO.
Tell us about the 450h you're looking at.

Good call, I didn't even think to ask about maintaining that film. I'll bring this up when I take delivery ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
