The MG ECU located in the inverter with converter assembly monitors its internal operation and it will set DTCs when it detects malfunctions.....
usually is related to electrical harness oppen.
if you can replace MG ECU current sensor and IPM
than perform software update if was any recall for J0V recall
check with your mechanic if that will help.

Common Problems That Trigger the P0A78 Code

The Inverter portion of the Inverter/Converter Assembly converts the direct current (DC) voltage from the battery to a three phase alternating current (AC) to drive the hybrid motor and transaxle assembly. If the High Voltage control module detects an issue with the inverter assembly, it will set code P0A78.
Start by checking the "Possible Causes" listed above. Visually inspect the related wiring harness and connectors. Check for damaged components and look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded connector's pins.

P0000– No DTCs Detected! – This is a rare code to see due to the fact it’s not a valid diagnostic trouble code, so not many code reading devices display this code.To restore proper operation, you need to hook up an OBDII scan tool and retrieve the DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes) stored in ECU memory. There are 10,000 DTC P-codes an ECU can save in its system memory, so having a specific DTC to point you in the right direction takes much of the guesswork out of diagnosing your vehicle’s problems

For these reasons, having your ECU code a P0000 is confusing because it seems to make no sense. Defined as “No Diagnostic Trouble Codes Reported,” DTC P0000 isn’t a code that should display on your OBDII scan tool.

Moreover, if there are no drivability problems and no MIL, hooking up a scan tool usually just comes up blank. Here’s the catch: there are two cases when DTC P0000 may show up, even if you have no drivability problems or an illuminated MIL.

Good news! If you read this trouble code and there are no other symptoms of car trouble, you are good to go ahead and continue driving the vehicle. No worries.

It’s probably a good idea to clear the code and check again later to see if it recurs. If it keeps popping up, you may want to use a more advanced scan tool to verify it’s not an issue with your scanner.

I am not mechanic but I own some of the lexus models is.gs.rx hybrid.es .allof them are hybrids and very strong .
voltage control module is mounted on some models on hybrid battery and relay 2 of them can get issues impossible to buy relay by piece the whole assembly unit only is available to buy about 200 us dollars.

MONITOR DESCRIPTION

The MG ECU (in the inverter with converter assembly) performs many diagnostic tests to verify proper operation of internal ECU systems. In one of these tests, the MG ECU checks for an R/D (Resolver/Digital converter) malfunction involving the motor resolver. If the MG ECU detects an R/D converter error, it will conclude that there is an internal malfunction involving the motor resolver and the hybrid vehicle control ECU will illuminate the MIL and store a DTC.

CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN
  1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
  2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
  3. Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
  4. Turn the power switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more.
  5. Turn the power switch on (READY).
  6. Drive the vehicle at 5 km/h (3 mph) or more for 30 seconds or more. [A]
  7. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes. [B]
  8. Read the current DTCs.HINT:
    • If a current DTC is output, the system is malfunctioning.
    • If current DTCs are not output, check for permanent DTCs.
  9. Check that the permanent DTCs are cleared.
  10. If the permanent DTCs are not cleared, perform the universal trip, and then check
  11. for permanent DTCs again.
