I would say though my previous SC430 and RX400h did a much better job with ASL than my RX450h does. I have to tweak the volume up and down manually most of the time when I get on and off the freeway for example with my RX450h, but didn't do that as much with my former Lexi.
Same here when driving wife's 2008 400h. Oh well... Guess I'm not the only one!
