LS600h Sales Way Down?

Cost effective to who? The 600h L was never going to be a high volume car and it obviously isn't about being cost effective. Cars in the 100k+ range are not about saving money. At its best, when new, only 5% of total LS allocation was for the 600h L. The car is now quite older so did anyone think it would be some amazing seller? It is a FLAGSHIP vehicle again mostly special order only.
It is like writing an article and complaining that the market for 200 foot yachts is bad because only 30 people bought them.

So, for folks who say that 600 is not cost effective, I agree if you are buying new.
On the other hand, when I wanted to upgrade my 07 SWB to LWB, I found that it will be ~$35K to get clean 07-08 LWB with less than 50K miles vs. $41K for LS600hl with 25K miles, so decsion was no brainer...

I agree. I would pay a little more for a 600 than a 460 for what you get with it (power, leather dash, rear seat entertainment, radar cruise, wood shift ****, LED headlights, and the quietness of the car). I see 08-09 LWB cars for close to what I am asking for my 600 ($40k) with 50k miles and 2.5 years/50k left on the warranty. For a few grand more, why not?
