2014 ES300h - what does your stick shift **** look like?
I'm just curious what stick shift **** everyone has on their 2014 ES300h. Mine is black. I just happen to notice in the car promo material it shows some cars with a matching wood ****.

The wood trim on the shifter is an extra cost option. You can buy the wood trimmed shift **** with leather and wood trim on the steering wheel for about $330 MSRP, or, for about $480 MSRP, you can get the wood trimmed shift **** with a heated leather and wood trimmed steering wheel.

Further, there are even differences with regard to what options and packages are available in different regions within the US.

I didn't realize that (in the U.S.) you cannot get wood trim on the shift **** with the ES300h. Unless I'm missing something on the Lexus site, you also cannot get a heated steering wheel on the ES300h.
I think that there are a number of option choices that differ between what is available in the US and what is available in Canada.

Again, I think that there are variations with regard to what is available depending on your region. If, for example, I enter my zip code, the Lexus site does not even show the ES300h as being available with the UL package. If I switch my zip code to that of some other parts of the country, the UL shows up as being available.

The only available wood trim on the 300h in the US is bamboo. It's Lexus' environmental thing tied to the eco hybrid for the States.

Thanks! Yeah, I really like it. I bought it originally for my 2010 IS-F a few years ago. When I traded it in on the ES300h, I transferred it over. I bought it from Sewell online. They now have them listed on their site in the ES300h section.

I recall having read some information from Lexus some time ago talking about how the various pieces of wood in its vehicles are hand selected to insure a good match between those pieces. I was noticing, on my ES, that the various pieces of wood on the dash, on the doors, and on the steering wheel do match very well, but those pieces and the wood trim on the shift **** do not match nearly as well. The wood trim on the shift **** has a bit more of a red hue, and it does not have nearly as much grain as the wood throughout the rest of the vehicle. The match isn't horrible, and it must not be too bad if it took me over a year of ownership of the vehicle to notice the less than perfect match, but it does not appear as if the wood for the shift **** was "hand selected" in the same way as the other pieces of wood trim on the vehicle.
