What is your ES300h MPG?

I always get a kick out of gas station attendants pointing me to the RON97 pumps because they assume every big car needs premium. Most Euro cars here do, especially BMW turbos, but it's nice to be able to use the cheap stuff. One of my previous cars had a high-compression turbo that needed RON98 for full power, not much fun trying to run that thing. I wonder how much detuning has to be done to Euro imports if California gas is only 87 octane.

It is 65, but you will **** a lot of people off if you drive the speed limit. CHP wont pull you over if you are going 75 mph unless you keep changing lanes and stick out like a sore thumb. As long as you keep your lane, you should be ok. Funny thing is, this is L.A. so a AMG 63 or M5 or an Aston Martin is a everyday sight, but those cars are not the ones driving 80-85mph, it is the people in Prius, Corollas, Subuaru BRZ and Civic Si that are driving like maniacs. I guess they have something to prove.

When i travel on highway, my mpg drops. This recent tank, I'm at 43 mpg. I usually drive about 65mph...but i will pulse on the downhill and glide on the uphill...the cruise control does the exact opposite, so i dont recommend cruise control at all.
Btw, my tires get up to 37psi while driving on the highway.

Thanks for the tips, I just refueled and I hope to hit 50 for this tank
I usually use Eco mode because it's easier to keep the engine off when moving off from a stop, at least up to 40 km/h. I've been accelerating within the top half of the Eco band, maybe that's too slow for high mpg. I guess it's like the race to sleep paradigm in mobile computing - accelerate hard and efficiently with ICE power to reach cruising speed, then coast or use minimal battery power to maintain speed. I don't like using pulse and glide in town because I can't focus on traffic.
I need to pump up my tires too. Mine are now 32 psi cold, 35 psi when hot, a bit too low I think.

The tank is getting smaller?
The same thing is happening on my es 300h. My last fill-up was only 12 gallons? Do you know the reason? Thanks.
