There is something to be said for having the absolute apex of a car manufacturer as illustrious and successful as Lexus. While the LF-A is the uber Lexii, it is a bloody unicorn so for all intents and purposes, the 600 is the tops.
While I am absolutely enthralled with my 460, a little part of me misses having the Ultra Luxury 430 which circa 2005 occupied the role of the 600. Having leather covering everything is awesome. As is all the other refinements added to justify the $100,000 plus price.
In addition, I am sure the crew that build the 600's are the A-Team of an already highly accomplished group on the LS line. If the battery needs replacement, such is life. In addition, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that there might exist a used battery pack from a damaged 600,
You sure are going to have some mighty happy rear seat passengers as well. Add in a Torsen differential and the attendant AWD and you have an all weather limo that should provide years of motoring joy.
