Had my 2014 done a few days ago. The car was in for about 3 hours and they gave me a loaner. My PCS had not been disabled prior to the fix and it had never given me any issues.

 

My 2013 ES300h is getting the PCS recall remedy today, I have a 2015 NX200T as a loaner. My PCS had not been disabled prior to the fix and it had never given me any issues.

 

I have a 2014 ES 350 UL/ML w/ PCS and just got mine replaced a week ago. All went well. One thing I didn't care for on the DCC part (Dynamic Cruise Control) was if a vehicle slows down in front of you, so you slow down, then the vehicle speeds up, my car was very slow to speed up. Seems to annoy folks behind me. However, the new ECM (?) control module and software seems to have made that better. Now in the above situation, my car begins accelerating in a more normal fashion so I don't have to take to the pedal to speed up just to begin coasting again. So, overall, good fix, I guess. I can at least vouch that SOMETHING changed!

 

I assume a Toyota dealer will NOT fix Lexus issues?

 

Not likely for a recall or warranty issue, but, it may vary by dealer, it does not hurt to ask.
