AWD VS RWD Mats LS600 H L
This is why i hate buying used cars some times.... no matter how much research you do.... it doesn't always pan out....
I Specifically went for the AWD LS600H L...
Just ordered my weather tech AWD LS floor mats and the AWD ones pictured on the right came in... which should fit perfectly with my car right? they don't....
i put them in my car and i noticed that my floor mats are more shaped like the 2WD pictured on the left...
can i confirm with any 08 LS600H L AWD body style owners..
My brother has a 07 GS350 AWD and it definitely has the deep cut into the driver side floor mat similar as pictured on the right. So i'm familiar with how it's supposed to look...
My carfax and everything states AWD for my VIN... so maybe i'm just paranoid right now....
its raining outside and was dark but i could take pictures tomorrow to show everyone the difference.

Like others said, your 600 is AWD.
Now on to the mats. It looks like you might have gotten an incorrect set (i.e., one not made for an LS but instead for a GS or an IS). Both the GS and IS have the bulge to accommodate the transfer case. I don't know if it's just the width of the LS or the trans/transfer case being more compact, but that bulge is not there in the LS. So the mats that you need have what essentially amounts to a straight edge. The correct part number for these mats is PU320-5011L-01 and this what you need (http://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/l...-5011l-01.html).
BTW, make sure you are getting that exact PN since these are specifically made for the LWB LSs. Meaning that when compared to the set of mats for a SWB LS, these have longer rear mats.

And to OP, the 600 was actually the first LS to ever get AWD, and indeed it applies to all of them.
