To ask Lexus America? I asked them a year ago if it is possible to get any refund. They answered "No".

Default National recall brake actuators

If there ever was a NEED for a NATIONAL RECALL for the 2007-2010 LS 460 & LS 460L models it was definitely for those KNOWINGLY FAULTY brake actuators that LEXUS knew were FAULTY,I'll never ever understand how LEXUS got away with not recalling ALL those FAULTY BRAKE ACTUATORS on those particular models, there only the most important part of a vehicle, talk about no consideration or concern for their customers SAFETY is not only TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE,INEXCUSABLE its just down right WRONG...CAN ANYONE AT ALL TELL ME HOW LEXUS GOT AWAY WITH IT,cause I really want to know?????

I think there were no crashes because of the Actuator malfunctioning. Brakes are still working with "actuator internal leakage" error. ABS and other safety systems are turned OFF so you always know that you have to visit a dealer.

I run a towing service, wrecking yard and have hundreds of cars. Drove a lot of cars with brake problems but nothing like a hybrid. When that actuator fails completely you practically have no brakes at all. If the oncoming car hadn't slowed down and pulled over I would have surely had to run into someone. There was just enough room for me to straddle the yellow line and go around the guy who stopped to look at the flowers. I've got a replacement part on the way. And yes I put in a complaint with the authorities.

They were several crashes and episodes from those faulty brake actuators Ive read many comments from customers, many people just weren't able to stop when they applied the brakes, lot of these people even wrote to Lexus about their episodes, but Lexus was like, well the mechanics checked everything out and just couldn't find a problem, just very disturbing to me that something as IMPORTANT as brake actuators went by the wayside with Lexus, like it's not a big deal, just very hard to understand how they ever got away with it....
