Default 2016 RX 450h Oil Filter location

Does anyone know where the oil filter is located on the 2016 RX 450h? I found it takes a cartridge-style filter, but I couldn't see it from above the engine. Pics would be even better!

Check out the DIY FAQ sticky for the 3RX. Everything is the same.

Thanks. Some of the info looks good, but some looks pretty old. My 450h has plastic all up under the engine compartment, making it impossible to see the filter without removing everything. The sticky mentions having a special tool to remove the filter housing, but where do we find that? Is it sold thru dealer parts or do regular auto parts stores carry it?

The filter housing can be easily viewed from the bottom of the car without removing any plastic covering. Buy a TOY640 (google is your friend) and drill a hole through it to make it easier to remove. None of the info in the sticky is outdated, everything is the same. You can find a lot more info there.

I haven't lifted the car yet. It was almost dark & I could barely slide under the front bumper to see anything. I'll get some ramps this weekend & see what it all looks like.
