I didn't understand the issue but I must admit I hadn't really paid much attention to it, plus I don't don't use the hold feature - mostly because I just haven't paid attention to the option which was new to us on this vehicle. Your video did a thorough job of not only explaining the issue, but explaining how the feature works in the first place. Nicely done and greatly appreciated! Your presentation was very clear and professional. Frankly, I am more inclined to use that feature now that I understand it better. I probably shouldn't admit I was so ill-informed as to this option but there it is...
Some people use Brake Hold for when they are stopped on a hill. When the light turns green, instead of the vehicle rolling backward just a bit, they are stationary until they accelerate up the hill.

One thing I don't understand is why the Hold feature resets to off when you stop/start the engine. It seems to me it should remember the last state.
And for the hill, I thought that's what the hill start assist does (separate from the hold button)

Yeah the RX resets the hold too. I always have to re-engage it.
