Default Maintance for 104K mile RX450h AWD

Hi all,
Just got a new to me 2013 rx450h AWD with 104K miles (very well maintained every 5K miles but only to STD Lexus level via details I can get from Carfax)...I believe car driven heavy highway miles and I think I stole it from the dealer!, see Intro page

So, in reading (thx to all for the great info posted here), I think I should:
1) Replace CVT and rear differential fluid
2) Double check that coolant was replaced at 100K miles (info on car fax said it was checked as part of 100K service, but did not say it was changed).
BTW, will and can dealers (from other locations) pull details on past maintenance from prior owners?

Anything else? Brake fluid is nice light yellow/clear color (and was replaced per schedule), oil was just changed, tires DOT code show late 2015.

Thx,
Jeff

Other Cars own/owned:
Sold 1998 Lexus SC300 - 220K miles, only 2 slight problems
Sold 2004 Lexus RX330 - 180K miles, never a single problem
Sold 2001 BMW e39 M5 - 63K miles, sold for last year for $3K more than paid after putting on 30K miles.
1999 BMW e39 528 - son's College 180K miles beater - need to sell, but haven't finished cleaning/fixing up
Toyota Highlander Limited - 90K miles for sale
Nissan Leaf - Commuter car so I don't have to daily drive the following:
2003 Porsche 911 (966) twin turbo
1993 Porsche 968 (1 of 2500 coupes imported to US)
1989 Porsche Turbo S (1 of ~2000 made)

Hi Jeff,

I also recently took delivery of a 2013 RX450h, albeit it only had about 45,000 kms, so fairly low usage by previous owner. The first thing I checked was the 12 volt battery under the cargo bay floor. I figured that a used car may be sitting at the dealer's lot for quite some time, and the battery would be run down to the point where it is only just marginal. Given that modern vehicles are so chock full of computers and electronics, having a weakened battery could trigger gremlins.

So I put the battery on the trickle charger, and set it to a low charging amerage (6 Amps). To my satisfaction, the charger indicating that it was bulk charging for many hours. This was despite the fact that the little round window on the battery showed a green colour - supposedly meant that the battery is OK. In my opinion, when a battery charger is bulk charging for a long time, it is a positive indicator that the 12 volt battery is still healthy and able to take or accept a lot of charge. A battery with depleted capacity on the other hand will have built up a lot of internal resistance and not take much charge at all, so the charger will be unable to put much back into it.

So if you put yours on the charger and it says "full" in less than 10 minutes, then this could be an indicator that the battery needs to be replaced.

I did also do the other things as per your list:
1. Renewed the transaxle fluids with Toyota genuine WS fluid - it was surprisingly dark in colour, so much happier to know that it's got fresh fluid in it now.
2. Engine oil and filter change
3. Replaced HVAC filter (be careful not to break the little tabs on the access panel - there is a little slot for the screw driver to push the tab slightly at the top right corner - use a torch and you can find it.

Things that I have yet to do:
Check tyre pressure of spacesaver.
Check contents of first aid kit
Replace the engine air filter - it looked filthy
Replace wiper blades

BTW, congrats on your new vehicle!

Auxiliary belt. You have only one.
Spark plugs. They are 100 000 miles.
Coolant is 150 000 miles, I believe. Won't hurt to drain at least radiator and refill.
That's about it.

Default Thx

Thx for suggestions.

Also thinking I will check sun roof drains, I have read and saw some that I looked at with water collecting in 12v battery compartment from I think clogged sun roof drains.
